Dimanche 8 août 2021. Bulandet.
Il
fait encore beau et chaud. Nous commençons bien la journée par une bonne douche
et un petit-déjeuner de luxe, avec melon et œufs à la coque. Puis nous partons
en vélo pour Værlandet. Autrefois, Bulandet et Værlandet (un autre groupe d’ile
plus à l'est) n’étaient pas reliés mais depuis 2003, des ponts les ont réunis.
Bulandet est devenu assez touristique, surtout pour les cyclistes. Tout un circuit
est organisé depuis Askvoll sur le continent, avec ferry, bus et location de
vélos soit à Værlandet soit à Bulandet. C’est une jolie route, assez plate, les
seules parties en pente sont pour monter sur les ponts. Nous allons voir le
ponton des visiteurs à Værlandet, un seul bateau y est. Ici, les vacances sont
finies. Nous rentrons après 21 km dans les pattes. Nous faisons pivoter Maja
pour avoir le soleil dans le cockpit, lunch, stillestund et promenade et photo traditionnelles
au phare. Peu après, nous voyons arriver « Navegante » que nous avions
déjà rencontré à Bud. Nous avançons un peu Maja pour leur faire de la place et
ils se mettent derrière nous. Blog pour moi et cuisine pour Jens, nous avons
des invités ce soir, Peter et Håvard Pedro, son fils. Jens nous a préparé une salade de
tomates et un gratin de chou-fleur. Håvard Pedro, 16 ans, va commencer des
études à un lycée technique au sud de Bergen pour être pêcheur et cela va être un
grand changement pour lui. Nous disons bonjour à Ricci, la femme de Peter, par
téléphone, elle travaille à Askvoll. Bonne soirée ensemble.

August 8, 2021. Bulandet.
It
is still sunny and warm. We start the day with a good shower and a luxury
breakfast, with melon and boiled eggs. Then we leave by bike for Værlandet. In
the past, Bulandet and Værlandet (another island group further east) were not
connected, but since 2003, bridges have united them. Bulandet has become quite
touristy, especially for cyclists. A whole circuit is organized from Askvoll on
the mainland, with ferry, bus and bicycle rental either in Værlandet or in
Bulandet. It is a pretty road, quite flat, the only sloping parts are to go up
on the bridges. We see the visitors' pontoon at Værlandet, only one boat is
there, the holidays are over in Norway. We return after a 21 km ride. We rotate
Maja to have the sun in the cockpit, lunch, stillestund and traditional walk
and photo at the lighthouse. Shortly after, we see “Navegante” arriving, we had
already met them in Bud. We move Maja a little forwards to make room for them
and they get behind us. Blog for me and cooking for Jens, we have guests
tonight, Peter and Håvard Pedro, his son. Jens made us a tomato salad and a cauliflower
gratin. Håvard Pedro, 16-year-old, is going to start studying at a technical high
school south of Bergen to be a fisherman and this is going to be a big change
for him. We say hello to Ricci, Peter's wife, over the phone, she is working in
Askvoll. Good evening together.
