Hier,
près du chemin du phare, j’avais vu de jolies orchidées et j’ai des remords de
ne pas les avoir prises en photo donc j’y retourne ce matin en vélo. Nous prenons ensuite du diésel et partons. Il fait beau et la mer est d’huile. Droit sud vers Ospa, puis par les
fjords et traversée de Sognefjord, nous connaissons bien ce chemin et avons
déjà l’impression de fin de voyage. Nous allons à Vilsvik, nous mettons au quai
de bois et montons dire bonjour à Arne et Berit, les propriétaires de la ferme
ici, mais ils ne sont pas chez eux. Jens leur téléphone et demande si on peut
rester à leur quai. Pas de problème. Ils rentreront demain et nous décidons de
diner ensemble demain soir. Puis nous faisons la promenade classique vers
l’ancienne école et continuons un peu. Nous ne trouvons pas de girolles mais je
trouve une nouvelle fleur que je ne connaissais
pas. Après notre retour et un ankerdram tardif, le temps se couvre et il
se met à pleuvoir. Nous essayons de diner dehors, la pluie s’est arrêtée, mais
sommes chassés par les « knott », ces minuscules moustiques. Donc
diner à l’intérieur et soirée tranquille, nous relisons de vieux Tintin.

Monday

Yesterday,
near the lighthouse path, I saw some pretty orchids and I regret not having
photographed them so I go back this morning by bike, alone. Then we fill up with diesel and leave,
the weather is fine and the sea is oily. Straight south towards Ospa, then
through the fjords and crossing Sognefjord, we know this way well and already
have the impression of the end of the journey. We go to Vilsvik, we dock at the
wooden dock and go up to say hello to Arne and Berit, the owners of the farm
here, but they are not at home. Jens phones them and asks if we can stay at
their dock. No problem. They will be home tomorrow and we decide to have dinner
together tomorrow night. Then we take the classic walk to the old school and
continue for a bit. We do not find chanterelles but I find a new flower that I
did not know. After our return and a late ankerdram, it starts to rain. We try
to have dinner outside, the rain has stopped, but are chased away by the
"knott", those tiny mosquitoes. So dinner inside and a quiet evening,
we reread old Tintin.
