Dimanche 13 juin 2021. Herøy-Sandnessjøen-Tonnes.
Le beau temps est fini. Pluie, rafales fortes de vent, les photos ne vont plus
être si bleues. Nous avions pensé aller à Myken, une ile à l’ouest qui nous
rapprocherait de Røst, mais avec ce mauvais temps nous abandonnons ce projet.
Nous allons aller dans les fjords tant qu’on peut. Nous partons à 9 h 40 et
empruntons un grand fjord qui va vers Sandnessjøen, une petite ville. Jens veut
y aller parce qu’il va chercher une carte SIM à un kiosque en ville. Nous avons
le vent, force 5, dans le dos et avec le foc seulement nous allons à 6 nœuds.
Mais le foc ne sait pas où aller. Il passe à gauche, puis à droite. Nous tirons
donc des « bords » : nous allons plus en travers dans un sens
puis dans l’autre, comme cela le foc est bien établi. C’est noir, très venté et
ce n’est pas ma situation préférée, mais ça va. Nous arrivons à Sandnessjøen à
11 h 30. Et ce n’est pas évident de se mettre au ponton par ce vent. Jens manœuvre
sa Maja en maitre et on se met dans une petite place sans problème. Tour en
ville, sous la pluie. Ces petites villes ne sont guère animées un dimanche pluvieux.
Nous allons déjeuner à un restaurant chinois et rentrons à Maja. Et nous
repartons, prenons du diésel et ressortons sur le grand fjord. Le vent est un
peu moins fort mais il y a encore de bonnes rafales, mais il va baisser. Nous
arrivons à Tonnes, une marina assez grande où le ponton des visiteurs est vide.
Il est presque 22 h et il pleut. Nous finissons tous les deux nos livres.

Sunday, June 13, 2021. Herøy-Sandnessjøen-Tonnes
The beautiful weather is over. Rain, strong gusts of
wind, the photos will no longer be so blue. We had thought of going to Myken,
an island in the west which would bring us closer to Røst, but with the bad
weather we abandoned this project. We're going to go in the fjords while we
can. We leave at 9:40 am and take a large fjord that goes towards Sandnessjøen,
a small town. Jens wants to go because he's going to get a SIM card from a
kiosk in town. We have the wind, force 5, in the back and with the jib only we
are going at 6 knots. But the jib does not know where to go. It passes to the
left, then to the right. So we are "tacking": we go more across in
one direction and then in the other, so the jib is well established. It's dark,
very windy and it's not my favorite situation, but it's okay. We arrive in
Sandnessjøen at 11:30 am And it is not easy to get to the pontoon in this wind.
Jens maneuvers his Maja in master and we get into a small place without
problem. Tour in town, in the rain. These small towns are hardly lively on a
rainy Sunday. We have lunch at a Chinese restaurant and return to Maja. And we
leave, take diesel and go out on the big fjord again. The wind is a little less
strong but there are still good gusts, but it will drop. We arrive at Tonnes, a
fairly large marina where the visitors' pontoon is empty. It's almost 10 p.m.
and it's raining. We are both finishing our books.
