Vendredi 18 juin 2021. Værøy-Gravdal.
Temps calme et gris. Un trimaran est arrivé cette nuit, mais pas de
mouvement dessus ce matin. Nous partons à 9 h et c’est si calme que je peux faire
le blog en route. Nous passons au large de Mosknesstraumen (ou Moskstraumen),
un endroit réputé pour son courant très fort. Nous déjeunons avec la table mise dans le
cockpit, vraiment une traversée à mon gout. Dans l’après-midi, nous passons sur
un haut fond de 25 m et Jens pêche. En 5 minutes il a deux colins, le diner est
assuré. Nous arrivons à Gravdal à 16 h et nous mettons en bout de ponton au
club local de bateaux. Après notre ankerdram, nous montons en vélo, sur la
colline derrière le village. C’est que Jens veut aller vérifier une station
sismique que l’université de Bergen a ici. Nous y étions déjà venus avec Maja
en 2002. Nous trouvons bien la station de pompage et nous savons que la station
sismique est dans un rayon de 30 m à peu près. Nous cherchons, cherchons et ne
trouvons pas. Nous redescendons et Jens téléphone à plusieurs personnes à l’université.
Il obtient ainsi des coordonnées plus précises, nous remonterons demain. Bon
diner de poisson et le dessert est une compote de rhubarbe « volée »
hier à Værøy. Après diner, nous allons voir la grande église de Gravdal
construite en 1905. En 2002, nous avions fait tout cela à pied, nous n’avions
pas les vélos, et c’est loin.

Friday June 18, 2021. Værøy-Gravdal.
Calm and grey weather. A trimaran arrived last night,
but no movement on it this morning. We leave at 9 am and it’s so quiet that I
can do the blog on the way. We pass off Mosknesstraumen (or Moskstraumen), a
place famous for its very strong current. We have lunch with the table set in
the cockpit, really a crossing for my taste. In the afternoon, we pass a 25m
shoal and Jens fishes. In 5 minutes he has two fish, dinner is guaranteed. We
arrive in Gravdal at 4 p.m. and find a place at the end of a pontoon at the local
boat club. After our ankerdram, we go up by bike to the hill behind the
village. It's because Jens wants to go check out a seismic station that the
University of Bergen has here. We had already been there with Maja in 2002. We
find the pumping station well and we know that the seismic station is within a
radius of about 30 m. We seek, seek and do not find it. We go back to Maja and
Jens phones several people at the university. It thus obtains more precise
coordinates, we will go up tomorrow again. Dinner of good fish and dessert is a
rhubarb compote, the rhubarb that Jens “stole” yesterday in Værøy. After dinner
we ride to see the big church of Gravdal built in 1905. In 2002 we did all this
on foot, we didn't have the bikes, and it's far.
