Mardi 8 juin 2021. Halten-Sør Gjæslingan
Beau temps. Nous restons un peu à Halten, le vent du nord va tourner au sud en
fin de matinée, comme cela nous ne l’aurons pas dans le nez. Et, surprise, sur
cette petite ile loin en mer, nous pouvons nous doucher et laver du linge.
Bjørn a dit qu’ils ont 80 000 l d’eau en réserve, de l’eau de pluie. Mais l’été
quand il y a plus de visiteurs, c’est parfois juste. Promenades, mais c’est
assez limité, l’ile est petite. Autrefois, 2000 pêcheurs venaient à la saison
de pêche et tout le port était plein de bateaux, à voile et à rames. Nous invitons
Bjørn pour le lunch sur Maja et nous passons encore un bon moment ensemble. Le
bateau de liaison va venir à 13 h 30. Pour lui, c’est toujours une surprise :
combien de passagers vont descendre ici ? Les groupes réservent à l’avance
mais pas les individuels. Il descend un couple qui a une maison ici et la grue
du bateau décharge une remorque. Qui va utiliser une remorque ici ? Il n’y
a pas de chemin carrossable. Nous partons juste après et allons est vers la
côte, mais nous nous apercevons que les vagues nous arrivent sur le côté et
Maja roule. Après une heure, nous décidons de changer de cap et d’aller plus
vers le nord. Cela va mieux, les vagues arrivent plus de derrière et Maja est
plus calme. Mais pour moi, le mal est fait : j’ai essayé de faire le blog
en bas et j’ai le mal de mer. Je vais être « patraque » tout le reste
de cette traversée, je reste couchée longtemps. Mais comme nous allons plus
vers le nord, nous nous rapprochons plus lentement de la terre. Nous allons
vers Sør Gjæslingan, un groupe d’ile un peu nord de Rørvik. Nous dinons (mais
je n’ai pas faim) en route et y arrivons à 23 h 15, après une traversée qui m’a
parue longue.

Tuesday June 8, 2021. Halten-Sør Gjæslingan
Good weather. We stay a bit in Halten, the north wind
will turn to the south at the end of the morning, so we won't have it in our
face. And, surprise, on this small island far out at sea, we can shower and
wash clothes. Bjørn said they have 80,000 liters of water in reserve,
rainwater. But in the summer when there are more visitors, sometimes it is not
enough. Walks, but it's quite limited, the island is small. In the old days,
2000 fishermen came in the fishing season and the whole port was full of boats,
sailing and rowing. We invite Bjørn for lunch on Maja and we still have a good
time together. The liaison boat will come at 1:30 pm For him, it's always a
surprise: how many passengers will get off here? Groups reserve in advance, but
individuals do not. The only passengers who stop here are a couple who have a
simmer cottage here and the boat's crane unloads a trailer. Who is going to use
a trailer here? There is no real road. We leave just after and go east towards
the coast, but we notice that the waves come to us on the side and Maja is rolling.
After an hour, we decide to change course and go further north. Things are
better, the waves are coming more from behind and Maja is calmer. But for me,
the damage is done: I tried blogging downstairs and I'm seasick. I'm going to
be "woozy" the rest of this trip, I stay in bed for a long time. But
as we go further north, we get closer to the land more slowly. We are heading
towards Sør Gjæslingan, an island group a little north of Rørvik. We have
dinner (but I'm not hungry) on the way and get there at 11:15 pm, after a
crossing that seemed long to me.
