Il a fait chaud même la nuit et il fait 22˚ quand on se lève. Quelle différence
avec la période passée où Jens se levait, allumait le chauffage et se
recouchait, il faisait parfois 12 ou 13 ˚ dans le bateau. Nos kjeledresser sont
dans le placard et sont remplacés par short et maillot de bain. C’est
incroyable. Ce matin, nous trouvons du bazar dans le cockpit, une mouette a
fait un trou dans un sac de poubelle qui était sous le banc. Nous avons encore
notre oiseau qui nous observe pendant le petit-déjeuner. Nous partons à 8 h par
temps calme, beau et chaud. Nous sommes pieds nus dans le bateau et Jens doit
mettre de la crème solaire! Nous sommes d’abord dans des fjords et passons sous
le pont de Sommarøy. A un moment, nous passons un haut-fond et le sondeur
montre plein de poissons. Nous nous arrêtons et en 5 minutes Jens pêche 3
poissons, 2 pour le lunch et un pour faire du ceviche. Nous sortons en mer et à
gauche nous avons de grandes montagnes et à droite la mer. Le vent se lève un
tout petit peu et nous avons le foc une demi-heure puis le vent retombe. Nous
avions pensé aller à Hamn, un port plus loin au sud, mais nous passons vers 4 h
devant une belle plage au fond d’une baie et Jens a subitement envie d’ancrer. Et
effectivement il y a le symbole pour ancrer sur la carte (une ancre). Moi je
suis moins enthousiaste, la baie est assez ouverte, mais c’est vrai qu’avec ce
vent nul, il n’y a guère de danger. Donc nous ancrons et allons à terre. La
plage est magnifique, grande, beau sable et mer turquoise. Une route y arrive
et les gens peuvent venir en voiture de Tromsø, mais ce n’est pas la foule.
Nous restons longtemps en maillot de bain sur la plage, Jens cueille des moules
et je cherche des fleurs. Et nous nous baignons! Et même deux fois, l’eau est à
18˚ en surface et 16˚ plus profond. Le sable est parsemé de petits morceaux de
corail. Nous rentrons à Maja et dinons de carottes rapées, moules accompagnées
d’un bon Gewurztraminer et biscuits au chocolat. La belle vie.

It was hot even at night and it's 22˚ when we get up.
What a difference from the days when Jens would get up, turn on the heat and go
back to bed. It was sometimes 12 or 13 ˚ in the boat. Our kjeledresser are in
the closet and have been replaced by shorts and swimsuits. It's incredible.
This morning, we find a mess in the cockpit, a seagull has made a hole in a
garbage bag that was under the bench. We still have our bird watching us during
breakfast. We leave at 8 am in calm, beautiful and warm weather. We're barefoot
in the boat and Jens needs to put on sunscreen! We are first in the fjords and
pass under the Sommarøy bridge. At one point, we pass a shoal and the depth
sounder shows lots of fish. We stop and in 5 minutes Jens catches 3 fish, 2 for
lunch and one to make ceviche. We go out to sea and on the left we have big
mountains and on the right the sea. The wind picks up a little bit and we have
the jib for half an hour and then the wind drops. We had thought of going to
Hamn, a port further south, but around 4 am we pass a beautiful beach at the
end of a bay and Jens suddenly wants to anchor. And indeed there is the symbol
to anchor on the map (an anchor). I am less enthusiastic, the bay is quite
open, but it is true that with this zero wind, there is hardly any danger. So
we anchor and go ashore. The beach is magnificent, large, beautiful sand and
turquoise sea. A road gets there and people can drive from Tromsø, but it's not
crowdy. We stay a long time in swimsuits on the beach, Jens picks mussels and I
look for flowers. And we bathe! And even twice, the water is 18˚ on the surface
and 16˚ deeper. The sand is strewn with small pieces of coral. We return to
Maja and dine on grated carrots, mussels with a good Gewurztraminer and
chocolate cookies. The good life.
