Cela fait deux mois que nous sommes partis !
Un peu plus de vent ce matin, nous partons après le petit-déjeuner vers le
sud. Nous faisons un grand morceau à la voile, le vent est du nord-est force
3-4, très agréable. Nous faisons une courte escale à Børøysund, une grande
marina, pour acheter du diésel puis
continuons. Nous sommes maintenant sur le Trondheimleia, un grand fjord orienté
sud ouest, très large. Nous passons à l’est d’Hitra une grande ile. Jens a
envie de s’arrêter pour le lunch et nous trouve une baie sur une ile où nous
ancrons. Personne, sauf un petit bateau à un ponton. Nous nous baignons assez
rapidement, l’eau est à 15 ˚ et déjeunons. Et nous nous apercevons qu’il y a un
couple dans le petit bateau, mais nous ne nous gênons pas, nous sommes assez
loin les uns des autres. Nous repartons et revenons sur le grand fjord. Dans l’après-midi,
Jens est occupé longtemps au téléphone : le premier qui utilise Hera II,
en Grèce, a plein de problèmes, et contacte Jens pour avoir des conseils techniques.
Je suis « capitaine » pendant au moins deux heures, mais la
navigation n’est pas difficile, c’est tout droit, large et je croise quatre bateaux.
Nous avons le foc un bon moment puis le vent tourne un peu et nous l’avons dans
le nez donc Jens m’aide à le rouler. Le vent est faible, 5-6 m/s (force 2-3),
tout va bien. Mais à 18 h 50, en quelques minutes, le vent devient très fort,
15 m/s (force 7), toujours de face. Et ce n’est pas une claque, cela dure. Les
vagues augmentent rapidement et deviennent assez grandes. Jens reprend son
poste et doit accélérer pour qu’on avance. Je n’aime pas cela du tout … Je
demande à Jens combien de temps avant qu’on rentre dans un fjord plus petit et
il me répond une heure. Non, je ne veux pas une heure comme cela, Maja monte et
descend, cogne dans les vagues, il regarde la carte et voit qu’on peut rentrer
dans un autre fjord bien plus tôt que prévu. Nous tournons à gauche, Maja a
donc les vagues de côté et roule comme une folle, tout cogne dans les placards,
mais cela ne dure pas longtemps et nous rentrons dans un fjord où le vent est
fort mais les vagues petites. Quel soulagement ! Et en plus, c’est joli,
montagnes, belles fermes et moutons dans les prés. Cela rallonge un peu la
route mais tout plutôt que ces vagues. Nous dinons en route et arrivons à Kristiansund
à 23 h 40. La marina, pourtant grande parait pleine, mais nous trouvons une
place entre deux bateaux. Longue journée, un petit verre pour nous remettre de
nos émotions et au lit.

It's been two months since we left!
A little more wind this morning, we leave after
breakfast for the south. We are sailing a long time, the wind is from the
northeast, force 3-4, very pleasant. We make a short stopover in Børøysund, a
large marina, to buy diesel and then continue. We are now on Trondheimleia, a
large fjord facing south-west, very wide. We pass east of Hitra, a large island.
Jens wants to stop for lunch and finds us a bay on an island where we anchor.
No one except a small boat at a pontoon. We bathe fairly quickly, the water is
15 ˚ and have lunch. And we find that there is a couple in the little boat, but
we don't mind, we're quite a distance from each other. We leave and come back on
the large fjord. In the afternoon, Jens is busy on the phone for a long time:
the first one to use Hera II in Greece has plenty of problems, and contacts
Jens for technical advice. I am "captain" for at least two hours, but
the navigation is not difficult, it is straight, wide and I pass four boats.
We’ve got the jib for a while and then the wind turns a bit and we’ve got it in
our nose so Jens helps me to roll it. The wind is weak, 5-6 m / s (force 2-3),
everything is fine. But at 6:50 p.m., in a few minutes, the wind became very
strong, 15 m / s (force 7), still head-on. And it's not a gust, it lasts. The
waves increase rapidly and become quite large. Jens returns to his post and has
to speed up to get ahead. I don't like it at all… I ask Jens how long before we
get into a smaller fjord and he answers me an hour. No, I don't want an hour
like that, Maja goes up and down, bumps into the waves, so he looks at the map
and sees that we can enter another fjord much sooner than expected. We turn
left, so Maja has the waves on the side and rolls like crazy, everything bangs
in the cupboards, but it does not last long and we enter a fjord where the wind
is strong but the waves small. What a relief ! And besides, it's pretty,
mountains, beautiful farms and sheep in the meadows. This lengthens the road a
bit but everything rather than these waves. We have dinner on the way and
arrive in Kristiansund at 11:40 pm. The marina, although large seems full, but
we find a place between two boats. Long day, a little drink to recover from our
emotions and in bed.
